Fitbit has a new way to help you fit into your fitness routine, as the company unveiled a new fitness app that allows users to measure their heart rate and calories burned using a smartphone.
The Fitbit app, FitBit Surge, can be used in conjunction with a Fitbit Flex, Fitbit Surge 2 or Fitbit Charge to monitor your daily steps and exercise data, and also lets users record their calories burned in the app.
The new app is designed to help users keep track of their daily activity by tracking their heart rates, calories burned, heart rate variability and steps per minute, and allows users with existing Fitbit devices to easily track their activity through a fitness tracker.
Fitbit Surge will include new features like calorie tracking, which will show how many calories you have burned for a specific amount of time.
For example, the app will show you how many extra calories you’ve burned per day by counting the calories in the last day’s activity, and then counting the number of calories burned on the previous day.
Fitbit will also show you your daily energy expenditure.
It will be possible to track your activity with a “tracking” mode, which lets you select different steps per day and each day’s steps as well as different calorie burn targets for each step.
It will also be possible for users to set their own calories burned targets, which can be set for a certain amount of steps per week, and calories expended per day, or per day’s calories burned target.
The app will be available to Fitbit users starting in the first quarter of 2018, and will work with the Fitbit QuickFit, Fitbits Surge and Fitbit Connect.
FitBit said it has partnered with several health care organizations, including the Mayo Clinic, Kaiser Permanente, National Institutes of Health, the University of Pennsylvania and the University College London to help the app launch.
“As we launch more fitness and health apps, it’s important to make sure that we are making sure that our customers can find and use the best data we have to make informed health decisions,” Fitbit CEO Mark Zuker said in a statement.
“With Fitbit’s revolutionary heart rate monitoring technology, we’ve been able to help consumers better understand their heart health and better tailor their workout plan.
We are excited to continue developing our new heart rate app and are confident that it will be a great addition to our customers’ fitness routine.”
The new Fitbit fitness app features a new look with a redesigned interface, and a redesigned app icon.
The company said it will provide a variety of Fitbit accessories to Fitbits users starting later this month, including a heart rate monitor, a heart monitor strap, and more.
The release of the new Fitbits comes at a time when fitness devices are increasingly becoming the focus of consumers, and the rise of smartphones and wearable devices has fueled a resurgence of interest in the way we use them.
Fitbits and the Fitbits from Fitbit are now more popular than ever, and have been growing rapidly in popularity over the past few years.
The company says it will continue to provide fitness data to consumers and partners.
